Week 32 recap

Monday – absolutely nothing

Tuesday – 500 swings (dh, sh & transfers) w/12kg bell following Tracy Reifkind’s workout #11.  60 minutes restorative/yin yoga.  Joint mobility x2 plus foam rolling.

Wednesday – 60 min bush walk, 30 min yin yoga

Thursday – 5/5 static to standing lunges Tania style (see video), 3/3 1/2 TGU w/8kg, 3x through core sequence (10 Russian twists w/12kg, 30 sec plank, 10 overhead crunch w/8kg), JMx2, foam rolling.

Struggled with the static to standing lunges on the right side.  I just simply do not have the strength in my right knee to bring myself from the floor to standing.  It’s what keeps me from doing a TGU on that side also.  I’m somewhat frustrated but just keep plugging along with my goal to do a full TGU by the end of the year.

Friday – dh kettlebell ladder w/12kg (10,10,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20) – 185 total; JMx2

Saturday – 5/5 lunges Tania style (see video), 3/3 1/2 TGU w/8kg, 2x through core sequence (10 Russian twists w/12kg, 30 sec plank, 10 overhead crunch w/8kg), JMx2, 60 min yoga – with a core/leg strength building focus.  Fit in real well with my lunges/core work.

Sunday – 60 min restorative yoga
