Charity Plank-a-thon

I lasted 2 minutes for the plank-a-thon fundraiser for Relay for Life.  Nothing to brag about – although the most I’ve done before was 75 seconds so I have no complaints.

The winner?  My 60+ year-young yoga instructor.  She is certainly a great example of female strength – physically, mentally and emotionally.

    Wow…that picture says it all. It is such a simple exercise but so much harder to do and hold it than you would think if you’ve never tried it. Great depiction of the muscles involved in holding that position.
