30 days of Asana practice

“Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are.”  Jason Crandall

Since I won’t be swinging my kettlebells for the next 2-4 weeks, I’ve decided to focus on my yoga asana practice.

I already have a firmly committed meditation and pranayama (breathing) practice in place – but my asana practice could use some work.  Not only in technique but in regularity.

For the next 30 days, I am committing to doing asana work daily.  It might be a 15 minute practice or it might be a 90 minute class or anything in between.

One of the ‘programs’ I’m going to do is to go through a couple of the yogaglo beginner’s series of classes.  I also have several DVDs and downloads that I will also be re-experiencing.

I’ll miss the kettlebell workouts but I know I’ll enjoy the yoga workouts.
